Robert Schulte, MD, is a private practitioner with a broad range of clinical experience in outpatient and inpatient settings. Over the past 30 years, Robert Schulte, MD has had the opportunity to work with individuals and groups of various make-ups, notably including serving in the public sector supervising an inpatient unit dedicated solely to the treatment of extremely difficult-to-treat, violent, and/or schizophrenic adult patients, and then in the private sector in an inpatient unit treating children and adolescents. He has also worked with the NFL, MLB, and other similar professional organizations.
Robert Schulte, MD is board certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and employs Psychotherapy (talking therapy) and Psychopharmacology (medication) in his work with children and adults to address Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, ADD and ADHD, Autism and Asperger Syndrome, as well as Obsessive-Compulsive, Addictive, Bi-Polar and Psychotic Disorders. Robert Schulte, MD also has expertise in Forensic Psychiatry, though he currently prefers to limit his practice to clinical matters. While he has extensive experience and expertise in traditionally "treatment-resistant conditions”, Robert Schulte, MD is also capable of and enjoys working with moderate to high-functioning adolescents and adults in individual and couples' therapy.
Robert Schulte, MD graduated from Harvard Medical School and was a Resident, Fellow, and Instructor at Harvard Medical School before moving to Arizona.
Robert Schulte, MD also offers consultation services to other providers for-profit and non-profit organizations. Currently, he is working with some (as well as providing clinical services) on a pro-bono basis.
